Blinds.com sells custom window coverings, and this review is about whether you should order before you measure. Do not. A custom shade cut to the wrong width is not a store return. See Blinds.com after you know the width.

Overview
This is for a window you have measured, or a window you will pay someone to measure. The page splits the buy into three paths: do it yourself, have them handle it, or do it together. That split is the actual product. The fabric is the easy part.

Blinds.com product review
Bali cellular shades
The sale tile I opened showed Bali cellular shades starting at $63.57, down from $127.13, labeled save 50%, with free shipping. Cellular shades are the insulated, honeycomb style. The pro is a low starting price if your window is small.
The con is the phrase “starting at.” A wide window, a blackout fabric, or a motor will not be $63.57. Measure first, then read the configured price.
Cordless classics and roller shades
Bali 1-inch classics cordless blinds started at $40.22, from $89.38. Bali roller shades started at $43.37, from $86.74. Roman shades started higher, at $107.61 from $215.22. Solar shades started at $49.55 from $99.10.
The pro is cordless on the cheap classics, which matters if a child can reach the window. The con is the same as the cellular tile. Starting prices are for a small size. Your quote is the one that counts.
What buyers say
The homepage showed named buyers, not a score I am going to treat as a study. William in Morgantown said a mis-measured shade was replaced at no cost. Francine in Ocala mentioned the SureFit guarantee and an easy install. Kimberly in Council Bluffs said the same replacement promise in shorter words.
That is one theme, from the site’s own slider. I did not see a complaint thread this turn, so I will not invent one. The risk that remains is a custom cut. SureFit is the safety net, and you should read that page before you trust a slider quote.
Is Blinds.com worth it
Worth it if you will measure, or pay for a pro measure, and you want free samples before a full order. Skip it if you want a shade from a shelf tonight. These are made to the width you type in.
The closing reason is the two sale banners. One said up to 50% off. The tracking page said up to 45% off. Use the cart, not the hero image.
Price and promotions
The starting prices above were on the homepage sale tiles this turn. They move. An extra 10% was offered for a signup on orders of $599 or more. Financing was advertised as low as 0% APR. I did not open the credit terms, so I will not repeat an APR I did not see.
Where to buy
This is an online shop, with phone help at 800-505-1905. You can order samples, follow a measure guide, or book professional measure and install. I did not see a street store on the pages opened this turn.
FAQs
Is the sitewide sale 50% or 45%? I saw both, on two versions of the page. The cart is the one that charges you.
What if I measure wrong? The site advertises a SureFit guarantee, and a buyer on the homepage said a bad measure was replaced. Read the guarantee before you count on that.
Do the $40 blinds include shipping? The sale tiles I opened said free shipping. Confirm it on your size before you pay.
Can someone else measure? Yes. The page has a professional measure-and-install path, next to the DIY guides.
