Himiway sells e-bikes, and this review is about the German shop, because that is the link. Prices are in euros, the return window is 15 days, and this is not the US site. See Himiway Germany only if a German checkout is what you wanted.
About Himiway
The German homepage lists e-bikes, including the D5 2.0, the A7, and the C5, plus accessories. The footer says a 2-year warranty, a 15-day return, and free shipping. Support email on the page is support_de@himiwaybike.com. The phone is +49 6924437699, Monday to Friday, 8 to 16.
Overview
This link is for a buyer in the EU who can read a German checkout and accept a 15-day return on a bike. It is the wrong link if you are in the US and expected himiwaybike.com. The page itself offers a country switch to the United States, the UK, and Canada. Use that switch before you pay in euros by mistake.
Highlights
- Anniversary banners offered a free 20Ah extra battery with the D5 2.0, and a free 15Ah battery with the A7.
- A7 Pro was listed at €2,799, down from €2,999, with a 250W mid motor, 120 Nm, and up to 80 km in boost mode.
- C5 was listed at €1,499, down from €1,699, with a 25 km/h cap, up to 128 km, and 86 Nm.
- One D5 2.0 listing showed 90 Nm and suspension travel of 100 mm front and 130 mm rear. A 20-inch D5 2.0 listing showed 90 mm front and 100 mm rear. Do not mix them.
- 15-day return. 2-year warranty. Those are short for a bike you might ride twice and then store.
- The page had a junk text string in one product block. Ignore anything that is not a spec.
Himiway product review
A7 Pro
The A7 Pro is the commuter bike on the page: a 250W Ananda mid motor, 120 Nm, and a stated range up to 80 km in boost mode. The listed price was €2,799, from €2,999. The page showed 73 ratings.
The pro is that the motor type, wattage, and torque are printed, so you can compare them. The con is the range line. “Up to 80 km in boost mode” is a ceiling. Your hills will do worse than the ceiling.
C5 and D5 2.0
The C5 is the moped-style bike, listed at €1,499 from €1,699, with a 25 km/h top speed, up to 128 km, 86 Nm, and hydraulic brakes. The D5 2.0 is the longer-travel bike. Read the travel numbers on the exact model. The 20-inch version and the standard D5 2.0 do not share the same suspension figures.
The pro on the C5 is a printed speed cap of 25 km/h, which is the legal pedelec limit in much of Europe. The con is the 15-day return on all of these. Two weeks is a short test for a bike that needs a fit.
What buyers say
The German page showed short review titles, including one that called a D5 very good and another that liked an A7 color. I am not going to treat those titles as a survey. The A7 Pro block showed 73 ratings, and the C5 block showed 55. I did not open the full text of either set.
Is Himiway worth it
Worth it if you want a German-shop e-bike, you can collect it inside the EU shipping area, and 15 days is enough for you to know the fit. Skip this link if you need the US shop, a longer trial, or a price in dollars. The country switch is on the page for a reason.
The closing reason is the return window. A bike that does not fit on day 16 is yours.
Price and promotions
Prices I saw this turn, in euros: A7 Pro €2,799 from €2,999, and C5 €1,499 from €1,699. Anniversary banners offered a free extra battery, 20Ah with the D5 2.0 and 15Ah with the A7. Those offers move, and a countdown on the page was still running. I am not going to convert euros to dollars.
Where to buy
This button opens himiwaybike.de, the German shop. The page also links a US shop, a UK shop, and a Canada shop. Free shipping is claimed in the footer. The support desk is Monday to Friday, 8 to 16, at +49 6924437699.
FAQs
Is this the US Himiway site? No. This link is the German shop. Switch country before you pay if you do not want euros.
How long is the return window? The footer says 15 days. That is the number I would plan around.
Are the D5 2.0 models the same? No. The travel numbers differed between the 20-inch listing and the other D5 2.0 listing. Open the exact model.
What is the warranty? The footer says 2 years. I did not open the warranty page, so I will not add exclusions I did not read.
